September 9, 2019—AAA Arizona has named the top repair shops in its automotive network.
Now in its 18th year of presenting “Top Shops”, three Arizona repair facilities earned the AAA Top Shop award for 2018 (Payson, Tucson & Phoenix), including Friendly Auto Centers, which is the only Phoenix-Metropolitan award winner. Friendly Auto Centers also ranked “Top 10” out of 498 shops for the West Coast of the United States.
“AAA developed its network of AAA Approved Auto Repair (AAR) facilities to serve as a resource for all motorists,” said John Walter, director of automotive services for AAA Arizona. “Top Shops consistently exceed our members’ expectations and strict standards. These shops represent the best of the best.”
Before being eligible for an AAA Top Shop Award, each facility must meet the precise standards needed to be included in the AAA-approved auto repair network. All AAR facilities must adhere to more than 20 AAA standards, including quality of repair work, customer service, and overall shop cleanliness. In addition, Top Shops must also maintain a 99-percent customer approval rating. They must be actively involved in the community, uphold an exemplary business reputation, and have current ASE Certifications.
