MAHLE Aftermarket Awards Corvette to "Choice of Champions" Winner

Bob Mattliano of Shore Point Auto in Brick, New Jersey, will leave the event in a stylish ride.

When Bob Mattliano of Shore Point Auto in Brick, New Jersey had to choose his "Choice of Champions" grans price at the MAHLE Aftermarket booth at AAPEX, he opted for the 2006 MAHLE Corvette Z06.

The Corvette, 1000 HP Z06 Corvette, built by Richard Petty and the technicians at Petty’s Garage, was one of two vehicles Mattliano had to choose from, the other being a Jeep Gladiator, built by Casey Currie and CRC.

“It’s been awesome teaming up with Casey Currie and Richard Petty to engineer these one-of-a-kind vehicles,” said Jon Douglas, president of MAHLE Aftermarket North America. “The technicians from both organizations truly ‘pulled out all the stops’ to design and customize these incredible vehicles with our components."
