The Auto Care Alliance’s (ACA) Florida chapter, the Florida Auto Care Alliance (FLACA), has announced Gary Keyes as its new executive director, according to a press release.
Keyes has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, starting as a technician before later opening his own shop in Stuart, Florida: E & M Motors.
He has played a role in organizations such as the Automotive Management Institute (AMi) and Automotive Service Association (ASA), as well as the Auto Care Alliance (ACA). Keyes has also been involved in legislative activism with laws involving the automotive industry.
In his new role with ACA, Keyes will supervise “the day-to-day operations of the organization” and “advance the interests of the automotive industry in Florida.” Brin Kline, president of FLACA, believes Keyes is “uniquely qualified” because of “his experience as a shop owner and board member, as well as his advocacy work.”
“I look forward to working with our members to ensure that they have the resources and support they need to succeed in an ever-changing industry and helping to bring FLACA into the future as a part of the Auto Care Alliance organization,” Keyes stated.
