AAPEX has announced opportunities for students to participate in this year’s event, as well as a chance for aftermarket companies to connect with those entering the industry, according to a press release.
Two options will be offered that will allow students to attend AAPEX, the first of which is the Student Sponsorship Program. This program will select individual students based on applications received, which will be accepted until August 24.
Those who are chosen will be offered two days of training at AAPEX, where they will have the chance to network and attend education sessions and hosted functions.
Additionally, recipients will also be supplied with a three-night hotel reservation in Las Vegas, complimentary AAPEX registration, reception tickets, and a fund for transportation and food.
The second opportunity, the Student Groups program, requires instructors to apply and be approved for a group of up to 15 students to receive complimentary AAPEX registration and access to all training at the event.
For aftermarket companies looking to be involved, the Sponsor a Student program will allow them to sponsor a group of students chosen by an AAPEX committee. The students chosen will attend two separate days with programming involving automotive coursework and time to interact with sponsors.
