Auto Care Association Releases Catalog Data Assessment Tool

The Auto Care Association has announced a new tool to efficiently identify and correct errors in a business’s data.

The Auto Care Association has announced a new tool to efficiently identify and correct errors in a business’s data, according to a press release.

The Catalog Assessment Tool can be accessed for free by Auto Care Data Standards subscribers through the Auto Care VIP Data Standards dashboard. Users may upload ACES and PIES files into the system and receive an assessment back within minutes.

The new tool will scan data and remove errors such as duplicated communication and distribution efforts, with the result being an increase in product introduction, speed to market, sales and operational efficiencies, and a decrease in supply chain costs and returns.

“We’re so excited to assist in advancing the industry’s content by providing this new data feature,” said Jonathan Larsen, the Auto Care Association’s vice president of standards and digital products. “As more subscribers take advantage of the tool, we can begin to observe when and how quickly this data is being embraced within the industry.”
