The ASE Education Foundation recently held the 2023 ASE Instructor Training Conference last month, where hundreds of high school and college instructors from auto, truck and collision repair programs nationwide came together to gain insights, according to a press release.

Held in Concord, North Carolina, the transportation industry’s leading OE and aftermarket trainers and instructors were at the four-day event this year to speak to audiences. 

A keynote session from Eric Chester titled “Building Rockets That Fly: Ensuring the Success of our Graduates” covered how to help graduates of automotive programs find success after their studies.

Also present was Bogi Lateiner, who discussed how to promote diverse classrooms in automotive programs in her presentation titled “Revving up Diversity in the Classroom.”

“Being together under one roof gave the attendees the opportunity to learn, interact and focus on the future,” said Mike Coley, president of the ASE Education Foundation. “We want to thank the subject matter experts who shared their knowledge and expertise with the instructors and the conference sponsors who helped make this exceptional educational event possible.”
