The Midwest Auto Care Alliance (MWACA) has announced its new executive board members, according to a press release.
The new board members were revealed at the Fall Leadership Summit, which took place on September 8 through 10 in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri.
The board has elected its first female president with Summer Guerrero of Affinity Automotive Services in Wichita, Kansas. The board’s vice president will be Travis Troy of Honest Wrenches Automotive Repair in Des Moines, Iowa.
The treasurer has been named James Copeland of Midwest Autoworx in Columbia, Missouri, followed by Kim Auernheimer of CS Automotive in Brentwood, Tennessee as secretary, and Jerry Holcom of S&S Service Center in Kansas City, Missouri as past president.
The board also said its goodbye to outgoing president Tim Davison of Chumbley's Auto Service in Indianola, Iowa, who recently sold his business.
“With this board, we have the perfect blend of experience, connections, and passion,” said MWACA Executive Director Sheri Hamilton. “These leaders will be the cornerstone of an alliance that helps assist, educate, and empower its members.”
