CRC Industries is sponsoring the auction of a modified and upgraded 2006 Pontiac GTO and donating 100% of the proceeds to TechForce Foundation.
In a recent press release, CRC announced the upcoming auction taking place at Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis on May 15, with the vehicle being auctioned by MECUM Auto Auction. The car has been worked on by NHRA Top Fuel World Champion Clay Millican and Jeff Lutz of Street Outlaws and Lutz Race Cars.
A minimum of five scholarships in industrial/welding and five scholarships in automotive education will be awarded, with the final amounts depending on the number of donations raised from the event. At least three of the scholarships will be awarded to women.
“We’re thrilled to partner with CRC Industries on this initiative. We share the same mission of helping young people find rewarding careers in the trades,” said TechForce Foundation CEO Jennifer Maher. “We’re tremendously grateful for CRC’s financial support and the time and effort their team has put into helping to make the TechForce Foundation scholarship program a success.”
