The Auto Care Association is now accepting nominations for its 2024 industry awards season, comprised of several awards that include Women in Auto Care honors, according to a press release.
The Auto Care Education (ACE) Award will recognize companies that have demonstrated a commitment to education, both in their own company and in the industry as a whole. This can include having employee training, educational programs for customers, instructors, or students.
Similarly, the Mort Schwartz Excellence in Education Award will honor an individual who has promoted education and training within the industry, such as participating in training programs or scholarship funding efforts.
The winners of both these titles will be selected by the Auto Care Association Education Committee, with nominations being accepted until June 28, 2024.
Additionally, the Women in Auto Care awards will be accepting nominations until July 12, 2024. This segment will include Women of Excellence, Female Shop Owner of the Year, and several others, such as the Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes a woman who has served as an industry leader, mentor, or role model.
For women still earlier-on in their careers, the Outstanding Leadership Award will recognize a woman currently making notable contributions to the auto care industry or Women in Auto Care.
Finally, the Company Ally of the Year Award will honor a company that has shown support for women working in the industry–both within its own company and in the auto care industry as a whole.
