The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has opened a probe into Nissan vehicles over airbags inappropriately deploying, Reuters reports.

The nearly 75,000 vehicles being looked at by NHTSA are comprised of 2015 Rogue Selects, which have been reported to initiate their airbags upon the car door being shut or slammed.

An airbag going off at the wrong time can pose safety risks, especially with Nissan having recently issued a “do not drive” warning for almost 84,000 older Sentras, Pathfinders, and Infiniti QX4s over Takata airbags that have gone unrepaired.
