Toyota has recalled a total of 33,484 vehicles across 22 models, reports WHNT.
Following a safety inquiry from Toyota on certain models, a report revealed that some vehicles may have the wrong specifications listed on their weight capacity labels.
Specifically, the weight on the vehicle’s load carrying capacity modification label could be higher or lower than what it actually is, potentially causing a driver to put too much weight in or on the vehicle.
The following are all models that are affected:
2024 4Runner
2023-2024 BZ4X
2025 Camry Hybrid
2024 Corolla

According to the recall document, it’s estimated that 100% of the approximately 33,484 recalled vehicles are affected by this.
Owners will receive a replacement label from Toyota in the mail, along with instructions for how to apply the corrected label. It may be applied by the owner or taken to a dealer. Dealers have been notified about the recall, but it may not be until next month before owners receive notices.
