The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation will be holding its annual Bob Schoeberl Memorial Golf Tournament this November in Las Vegas just before Industry Week, according to a recent press release.
Held in honor of the late Bob Schoeberl—a supporter of the AACF and longtime industry leader—the event is intended to raise funds for aftermarket families facing financial hardship due to illness, accident, or life-altering crisis.
While the golf tournament takes place Nov. 3, the event’s agenda shows that a cocktail party will be held the evening prior, featuring an open bar, live music, a silent auction, and door prizes. Breakfast will be offered the morning of the tournament, and the event is immediately followed by a luncheon that afternoon.
AACF is inviting C-level executives, industry leaders, top media outlets, and automotive enthusiasts to attend the event, but has noted that spots are limited and to register beforehand.
“This tournament is more than just a day on the course,” said Jeff Helfrich, committee chair of the event. “It’s about showing up for the people in our industry when they need us most. The impact of this event echoes far beyond the green and we’re inviting everyone in the aftermarket to be part of that impact.”
