The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating nearly 300,000 Chrysler minivans over reports of issues with the steering, according to USA Today.

Announced on Sept. 8, the probe covers the 2017-2018 Chrysler Pacifica and 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid, making up an estimated 287,000 vehicles.

NHTSA has received nearly 100 complaints of issues with the electric power steering in these vehicles, with drivers detailing a sticking sensation during gradual turns, especially when the wheel is near the 11 o'clock or 1 o'clock position. The problem could lead to an oversteer condition, especially at high speeds.
