ASE Webinar to Provide Intro to Automotive Evaporative Emissions Systems
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence’s upcoming webinar will focus on automotive evaporative emissions systems, as shared in a recent press release.
Titled “Fundamentals of Automotive Evaporative Emissions Systems,” the session will be led by Jim Wilson with ATech Training, and is to stream on Oct 21. It will center on EVAP systems’ purpose, design, and operation in controlling fuel vapor emissions.
Participants in the webinar will learn about key components including the charcoal canister, purge valve, vent solenoid and pressure sensors, along with how these parts work together to meet emissions standards. The session will also cover common diagnostic strategies, OBD-II system monitoring, and real-world troubleshooting tips for identifying leaks and faults.
A certificate of attendance for the live session will be emailed to webinar participants. Those who are not sure if they can attend are encouraged to register as they will receive a follow-up email with details on how to attend a recorded session, if available. Access to recorded sessions is reserved for those who register for the live event.
