The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence is hosting a free webinar sharing updates on several important initiatives from the National Automotive Service Task Force, as shared in a press release.

Titled “NASTF Vehicle Security Update,” the Dec. 2 webinar will be led by NASTF President Donny Seyfer.

Seyfer will cover key updates on initiatives from NASTF, including vehicle security professional registry and the secure data release model, which enables technicians to perform security-related services such as programming keys, purchasing key and immobilizer codes from automaker websites, and immobilizer resets.

Participants in the webinar will receive a certificate of attendance for the live session. Those who are not sure if they can attend are encouraged to register as they will receive a follow-up email with details on how to attend a recorded session, if available.
