Midas has acquired Max Auto Supply Company, one of its largest franchisees, according to a press release.

Founded in 1958, Max Auto is a franchisee operating 111 Midas locations, with over 650 employees across Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Kentucky, and Georgia.

“We are excited to deepen our relationship with the Midas family and begin this new chapter,” said Max Auto Vice President Randy Lindhurst. “For more than 60 years, Max Auto has been deeply committed to the Midas network, cementing its reputation on integrity, expertise, and a commitment to exceptional service. With the added support and resources of the Midas platform, we look forward to strengthening our operations and delivering even greater value to the communities we serve.”

Max Auto will maintain its headquarters in Toledo, Ohio, and continue to operate as a standalone business, leveraging the support and resources of the broader Midas platform. Max Auto will continue to be led by Lindhurst as vice president, alongside the rest of its executive team. With the acquisition, Max Auto has joined Midas as part of the Mavis Tire family of brands and companies.

“At Midas, our legacy is built on a steadfast commitment to service, quality, and reliability, which are values that have made us a trusted name in communities nationwide,” said Leonard Valentino, Jr., president of Midas International, LLC. “These principles align perfectly with the culture and operational excellence of Max Auto. We are confident Max Auto will continue to be a best-in-class dealer within the Midas family, driving forward our shared tradition of excellence.”
