Auto Care Association Hosting Webinar on 2026 Policy Landscape
The Auto Care Association will be hosting a webinar next week on policy decisions shaping the future of the automotive aftermarket, as shared in a recent press release.
Titled “Policy Ahead 2026: Elections, Right to Repair, and Vehicle Data,” the May 6 webinar will cover key legislative and regulatory developments at both the federal and state levels. Attendees will gain insight into growing federal momentum behind the REPAIR Act, as well as emerging policy considerations tied to vehicle technology, data access and cybersecurity.
Participants will learn what to expect in the upcoming midterm elections and how policy outcomes over the next six to 12 months could impact market competition, independent repair viability, and access to vehicle data in a rapidly evolving, software-defined vehicle landscape.
