Bosch Automotive Launches State-of-the-Art Franchise in Oklahoma City
Bosch Automotive Workshop Services LLC announced the opening of its first ground-up franchise location in Oklahoma City, introducing a new kind of automotive service facility built to support the evolving needs of both drivers and technicians. The new location officially opened to the public on June 1 and represents the first of 15 planned Bosch Auto Service locations across Oklahoma, led by longtime local business owner and entrepreneur Larry Battison.
The 10,000-square-foot facility was purpose-built to deliver full-service maintenance and repair in a modern, technology-forward environment. Its 7,000-square-foot technician workspace is equipped with advanced diagnostic and calibration technology, including a Bosch ADAS calibration machine, and offers tire, alignment, and comprehensive repair services for today’s increasingly sophisticated vehicles and electric vehicles.
The location further showcases Bosch technologies and partnerships across the facility, including Bosch Home Comfort, Bosch Power Tools and Bosch Dealer Equipment Services. The shop is fully equipped with Bosch Diagnostics, OTC and Robinair solutions, tools and equipment.
“Opening the first ground-up Bosch Auto Service location—and the first of 15 facilities planned across Oklahoma—is an exciting milestone for us,” said Battison. “We set out to create a shop that reflects where the automotive industry is headed: modern, professional and built around a better experience for drivers. Backed by the engineering excellence and trust of the Bosch name, this location was built from the ground up with quality, technology and long-term customer relationships in mind.”
Unlike traditional repair models, Bosch Auto Service locations are supported by Bosch training, diagnostic technology and operational resources while allowing owners to maintain local leadership and community ties. The Oklahoma City opening reflects growing demand for independent repair facilities equipped to service vehicles with advanced safety systems, connected technologies and evolving powertrain platforms.
“This location was built to combine advanced automotive expertise with a straightforward, customer-focused experience,” said Beau Osteen, general manager of the new facility. “We want drivers to feel confident the moment they walk through the door. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality service, clear communication and a level of professionalism that reflects the standards people expect from Bosch.”
The June 13 grand opening community event will also highlight Battison’s ongoing commitment to workforce development and technical education through The Battison Foundation. During the event, the foundation will award $60,000 in scholarships, including six $10,000 scholarships to students attending Oklahoma City Community College, Metro Technology Centers, Francis Tuttle Technology Center, Tulsa Community College, Tulsa Tech, and Norman Moore Technology Center.
As vehicles continue to become more connected, software-driven and reliant on advanced safety systems, the Oklahoma City location reflects the growing need for repair facilities built to support the future of automotive service while remaining rooted in the communities they serve.
