WAI Global Invests in Memphis Facility with Major Expansion and Technology Upgrades
WAI Global today announced a major expansion of its Memphis Distribution Center. The project includes a 75,000-square-foot expansion, implementation of a modern warehouse management system, and equipment upgrades designed to improve inventory management, order fulfillment, and support the company’s continued growth.
The expansion increases WAI's physical footprint in Memphis while enhancing the distribution capabilities that directly support customer service, including product availability, order accuracy, fulfillment speed, and operational flexibility.
"This investment ensures we're ready for what's next," said Seth Moul, CEO of North America at WAI Global. "The Memphis expansion gives us the capacity to grow with our customers and continue delivering the speed, reliability and service they expect from WAI."
"These improvements give our team the space, technology and processes to operate more efficiently every day," said Rick Evans, Director of Distribution at WAI Global. "It's about giving our people the tools they need to execute at a high level."
The 75,000-square-foot expansion increases warehouse capacity, enabling WAI to support continued product line growth while maintaining strong levels of inventory availability and fulfillment performance. Complementing the facility expansion, WAI is implementing a modern, cloud-enabled warehouse management system that provides real-time visibility into inventory and warehouse operations while optimizing receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, and shipping processes.
Additional warehouse equipment upgrades will further improve picking efficiency and material handling while providing a scalable foundation for future automation and continued growth.
