Over 97,000 Jeep vehicles have been recalled due to an issue that could cause the roof rack crossbar to detach, reports Autoblog.

Included in the recall are the 2022-2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, 2023-2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, 2022-2025 Jeep Wagoneer, and 2023-2025 Jeep Wagoneer, making a total of 97,349 cars.

Accordion to NHTSA, these vehicles have inadequately torqued pivot bolts holding the roof crossbar, which may be loose enough that the crossbar may come off of the vehicle.

The report added that drivers who are impacted by the issue may notice a rattling noise from the crossbar if the bolt is already loose or missing.
