ASE Webinar to Cover Diagnosing Blower Motor Control Systems

The free webinar on October 27 will explore modern blower motor control systems, focusing on pulse-width modulation and brushless technologies that enhance HVAC performance and noise reduction.

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence is hosting a free webinar on Oct. 27 entitled "Blower Motor Controls," as shared in a press release.

In this webinar, Ryan Kooiman with Standard Motor Products will focus on modern blower motor control systems, emphasizing the shift from traditional resistor-based designs to advanced pulse-width-modulated and brushless motor technologies.

Participants will learn how HVAC control modules regulate blower speed electronically for improved comfort, efficiency and noise reduction. The session covers system operation, circuit design and key diagnostic strategies for identifying control module, signal or motor faults.

Participants in this webinar will receive a certificate of attendance for the live session. Please allow one week for automatic email delivery of the certificate.

After registering, a confirmation email will be sent containing information about joining the webinar. Those who are not sure if they can attend are encouraged to register as they will receive a follow-up email with details on how to attend a recorded session, if available. Registrants receive priority access to the recording.
