Show attendees can learn about the $25 million Department of Labor grant, explore ASE Connects, and hear daily 2026 testing updates from ASE’s Matt Shepanek.

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence and the ASE Education Foundation will be on site at both AAPEX and SEMA to discuss some of ASE’s newest initiatives, as shared in a press release.

At AAPEX, ASE will be in booth V7600 next to Joe’s Garage (Venetian Expo - Level 2) and at SEMA, the ASE booth will be in the North Hall (11079). Senior executives from both organizations will be on hand to talk about several different initiatives, including the ASE Education Foundation’s $25 million Department of Labor grant. The orgnizations will also be there to talk about ASE Connects: a nationwide effort to unite shops, dealerships and schools in addressing industry challenges. Those who are not yet ASE Connects members can sign up at the booth, with free trials available through Dec. 31, 2026.

In addition, Matt Shepanek, ASE’s vice president for credential testing programs, will be providing 2026 ASE updates every day at the show from 1-1:45 p.m. at AAPEX stage 2 (Venetian Expo-Level 2-Venetian Ballroom).
