Nov. 24, 2014

Nov. 24, 2014—Automotive Parts Associates Inc. (APA) has selected GCommerce to facilitate electronic document exchange between APA shareholders and vendors to automate the procurement process.

In addition, APA shareholders will be using the GCommerce industry solution for special orders, Virtual Inventory Cloud, for placing non-stock and special orders.

“We are pleased to announce the Professionals Choice EDI and Special Order Solution in partnership with GCommerce. The purpose of this program is to enable cost savings and supply chain efficiencies for our shareholders through real-time two-way electronic document exchange and to provide a single special order solution between APA members and their suppliers,” Gary Martin, president and CEO of APA said in a release. “GCommerce has a proven turn-key process that facilitates adoption through education, and in essence, GCommerce becomes an extension of both the distributor and the supplier, allowing companies of any size or capability to become EDI capable.”
