March 24, 2016

March 24, 2016—The Tire Industry Association (TIA) announced Wednesday that its Certified Automotive Training Service (ATS) Instructor Class will take place in the Chicago area, Oct. 18-21, at Joliet Junior College in Joliet Ill.

The four-day program is a hands-on class that industry professionals must successfully complete in order to return to train technicians to prepare them for certification.

TIA trained more than 100,000 technicians since 1997 using the train-the-trainer approach. Certified ATS includes safety guidelines and step-by-step procedures for all aspects of passenger and light truck tire service.

Registration information can be found on TIA’s website.
