July 11, 2014—Summit Consulting announced Thursday that it hired Jamie Boettcher to its leadership team as a senior training specialist.

Summit, an automotive consulting firm, specializes in developing and implementing process improvement solutions and profit-building programs for service, parts and collision center operations.

Prior to joining Summit, Boettcher worked with I–CAR as a technical writer, instructional designer and lead instructor, where he worked directly with Ford engineers to help develop repair processes and training programs for the 2015 Ford F-150.

"Ensuring our clients' technicians and support staff keep pace with industry advancements and have access to the latest and most relevant information is critical for servicing vehicles in a consistent and effective manner," said Randy Profeta, Summit Consulting’s national training director. "[Boettcher]'s extensive background working with vehicle manufacturers to achieve the highest service standards is a tremendous asset to our team and our customers. His insight from the front lines will help technicians take repair service to the next level."
