Jan. 20, 2015—Franchise Business Review, a franchise market research firm, announced Monday that it has labeled Christian Brothers Automotive Co. as the top automotive franchise to own.
The announcement came along with the magazine's annual Top 200 Franchise Companies List. The list, entitled The Best of the Best, Top 200 Franchise Systems List for 2015, ranked hundreds of participating franchise companies by their overall levels of franchise owner satisfaction.
Christian Brothers was the top-rated automotive franchise for the fourth consecutive year, and has never had a location close.
"Each year we work very hard to reach No. 1," Christian Brothers CEO Mark Carr said in a release. "We are really pleased that our franchise owners are reported to be highly satisfied with the service that we provide them. Christian Brothers will continue to grow throughout 2015."
Although Financial Business Review found that automotive franchises, along with the food and travel and hospitality franchises, tend to score low in franchisee satisfaction, Christian Brothers, the magazine reported, had "outstanding ratings." In the automotive category, Christian Brothers finished ahead of several household-name automotive franchises.
To select its top 200, the franchise magazine surveyed 28,500 franchisees from 350 brands that have at least 10 franchises in North America. The survey ascertained franchisees' thoughts on financial opportunity, training and support, leadership, operations and product development, core values (e.g., honesty and integrity of franchisor), general satisfaction and the franchisee community.
