Oct. 31, 2013—Federal Mogul’s Wagner Brake line announced Wednesday that it has released the aftermarket’s first replacement brake pads for the 2014 Acura RLX sedan.
Wagner ThermoQuiet Ceramic front disc brake pads (No. QC1697) feature one of the exclusive 2021-compliant Wagner OE21 low-copper friction formulations, which are 35 percent quieter and offer 15 percent more stopping power and up to 40 percent greater fade resistance than previous Wagner ceramic formulations.
“As Wagner Brake extends its leadership in advanced low-copper friction technology for the aftermarket, we are pleased to also be the first in the industry to develop replacement pads for this application,” said Christopher Battershell, director of braking in North America for the Federal-Mogul Vehicle Components segment.
