Nov. 9, 2015—On Veterans Day, Meineke Car Care Centers will offer free oil changes for America’s service men and women. This promotion is accompanied by a variety of other initiatives supporting the military community.
During the month of November, Meineke will sign the Employer Statement of Support for the Guard and Reserve, a proclamation indicating steadfast commitment to providing continued and meaningful employment for America’s reserve and retired military personnel and their families.
Meineke also donated a combined $10,000 to AmVets, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for American Veterans, and Hope for Warriors, a support program provider for military families.
In addition, Meineke has teamed up with Maaco to refurbish and gift a truck to a deserving veteran as part of its Cars and Stripes program.
“Veterans Day is the ideal time to display our genuine gratitude for the sacrifices made every day by the brave men and women in our military,” said Artemio Garza, chief marketing officer of Meineke Car Care Centers. “At Meineke, we know an oil change is a basic service vehicles need to ensure they continue to properly function. By offering free oil changes to the military community, we’re doing our small part to ensure they have their most basic need taken care of.”
The free oil changes will be available on Nov. 11 at over 460 participating Meineke Centers to active, retired and reserve military members with a valid military ID.
