Innova Electronics Launches Coil/Control Module Tester

Dec. 3, 2014

Dec. 3, 2014—Innova Electronics Corporation debuted its new 4400 Coil and Control Module Tester at this year’s Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX), which took place in Las Vegas in November.

Designed for in-store use to test the ignition circuitry of ignition coils and DIS/EIM control modules to determine if the part is good or bad, the 4400 Coil and Control Module Tester aims to help counter personnel quickly evaluate modules and sell the right part the first time.

“The new Innova Coil and Control Module Tester will become invaluable to auto part stores by allowing them to test coils and control modules at the counter, especially to determine if the product is defective and a return is warranted,” Niko Ruiz, product marketing manager for Innova Electronics Corporation, said in a release. “The 4400 verifies returns with printed proof, thereby reducing the number of unnecessary, non-defective returns to the manufacturer.”
