April 4, 2016—Advance Auto Part Inc. announced Monday that it has named Thomas Greco as chief executive officer and director, starting April 11. Interim CEO George Sherman will continue as president, a position he has held since April 2013.

Greco joins Advance Auto Parts after 30 years with PepsiCo Inc. He most recently served as CEO of Frito-Lay North America where he drove sales and improved operating profits for PepsiCo’s snack and convenient foods business.
