Jan. 18, 2013—Automotive Service and Repair Week (ASRW) recently recognized Terry’s Auto Supply, HMS Warehouse, and LKQ as the overall winners of an exhibitor marketing initiative, which asked exhibitors to send out invitations to attend ASRW 2012 to their customers, according to an ASWR press release_notes.
Terry’s Auto Supply won the highest honor for sending out the most invitations. HMS Warehouse received recognition for most attendee registrations, and LKQ was acknowledged as Best in Show for sending the most customized e-mails, as well as their perfect verification rate.
Officials said that the initiative added a personalized touch to this year’s event.
“Statistically speaking, it’s more meaningful for attendees to receive a personalized invitation to the show from an exhibitor than to register on their own, and they’re more likely to attend,” ASRW show director Lindsay Roberts said in a statement. “Our exhibitors diligently sent invitations to their customers and prospects in the weeks and months leading up to the show, and we’re grateful for their efforts on the show’s behalf.”
