Aug. 28, 2014—The Car Care Council has redesigned its Car Care Guide, adding 20 pages of information and adding color, the non-profit announced recently.
The 80-page Car Care Guide aims to help motorists gain an understanding of how to care for their vehicles, by addressing when, why and how maintenance is important.
“Since first introduced, the easy-to-follow Car Care Guide has become a valuable resource for shop owners, counterpersons and technicians to use when discussing recommended maintenance and repairs with customers,” said Rich White, executive director at the Car Care Council. “The time is right to introduce a new, updated and full-color version of the guide with even more useful information to help industry professionals educate motorists how to best maintain their vehicles for safety, dependability and value.”
The new pages include content on finding an automotive repair shop, alternative fuels, understanding warranties, and vehicle telematics, as well as careers in the auto care industry. It also has an expanded environmental awareness section.
Individual copies of the guide can be ordered for free, and an electronic copy can be viewed by visiting the Car Care Council website.
Shops, stores and other auto care industry organizations can also purchase the guides in bulk. Custom printing with a company logo on the back cover is also available in bulk quantities by contacting [email protected].
