Aug. 14, 2013—The 2013 Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) town hall breakfast will take place at 7 a.m. on Nov. 6 in the Palazzo Ballroom at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.
New to this year’s town hall, Janet Schijns, vice president of medium business and channels for Verizon Enterprise Solutions, will preview future technology trends including cloud, advanced communications and machine-to-machine implications for the automotive aftermarket industry.
“Ignore the doom and gloom scenarios that are too often preached about the future of our industry. Town hall attendees are going to get a whole new perspective on how well-positioned our business is in the new communications world,” said Kathleen Schmatz, AAIA president and CEO. “Get ready for unique expert insight on how we will conduct business and compete for business on the ground and in the cloud.”
The town hall breakfast, sponsored by Polk, will start off with “Five Trends in Five Minutes” presented by Mark Seng, global aftermarket practice leader at Polk. This segment is “back by popular demand,” Schmatz said.
Individual tickets are $100 for AAIA members and $115 for non-members and include a full breakfast buffet. A table (10 tickets) can also be purchased for a discounted rate. For more information, visit the AAIA website.
