July 22, 2019—Motion Industries, a distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation replacement parts, has named Jeremy Barton to vice president of Motion Industries’ West Group, reports Thomas Net.
Barton will lead the West Group’s operations after 20 years of experience in the industry, while also serving key roles with the company.
He has worked as a mining industry sales manager, and branch manager in Salt Lake City, as well as providing technical, sales, and operations guidance for the Motion Industries’ growing industrial services platform in the West. In 2016, he was promoted to Mountain Division sales manager.
“Jeremy brings valuable experience and expertise to this position, and we are confident that he will succeed in leading the West Group. I know he’ll do an outstanding job driving our key field initiatives,” said Kevin Storer, Motion Industries executive vice president of U.S. operations.
He will be VP of the West Group effective Aug. 1.
