DENSO and Honeywell Partner for Better Urban Air Mobility

The partnership seeks to create propulsion systems that make air travel cleaner, quieter and more efficient and easier to maintain.

June 12, 2019—DENSO, the world’s second largest mobility supplier, and Honeywell, a Fortune 100 company and aerospace manufacturer, have partnered to develop hybrid-electric and fully-electric propulsion systems for urban air mobility, allowing for better air travel.

Urban air mobility provides more safe and efficient air traffic within cities, also decreasing ground traffic. Both companies see urban air mobility vehicles as a key component of the future of mobility.
