April 5, 2019—Tesla vehicle sales for this year's first quarter have dropped compared to last year, Business Insider reports. According to the publication, the number of delivered vehicles dropped 31 percent.
Although sales have dropped, the number of EVs put into the market by Tesla have been enormous, Business Insider reports, as Tesla has increased deliveries by 110 percent compared to 2018's first quarter. Additionally, Tesla has captured 3 percent of the vehicle market within a span of three years.
