March 14, 2019—Panama City's local Goodyear Auto Service has reopened following Hurricane Michael's destruction in Fla. According to the Panama City News Herald, the business closed following damage and opened doors again to the public on March 6.

Regional district manager, Jose Asencio said the business remodeled after facing catastrophic damage, the Panama City News Herald. Following the storm, the location received damage to both the roof and showroom, as well as damage to the bays doors, the publication reports.

“So far our customer base has been very appreciative that we’re open,” Asencio said to the Panama City News Herald

The store has been located in the same spot in the community for 60 years, the Panama City News Herald reports.

Following the hurricane, Asencio told the Panama City News Herald that the store has been resilient in recovering and moving forward.
