October 30, 2018—CarMD.com Corporation, a provider of automotive diagnostic solutions, on Monday announced it will debut CarMD PRO SCAN during AAPEX 2018 in Las Vegas.
The AAPEX expo runs through Nov. 1. CarMD PRO SCAN was designed to be a turnkey aftermarket business solution with full network scan capabilities that can be implemented into the repair shop workflow to help shops connect with customers, increase return on investment and optimize future sales opportunities. The PRO SCAN product will be previewed from the Innova/CarMD Sands Expo booth No. 4856 during AAPEX this week.
Tapping into CarMD's database of maintenance, repair and vehicle data, PRO SCAN ideally provides facilities with the tools, dashboard, portal and marketing options to incorporate the solution into their typical repair procedures.
The product was designed with the aim to allow shop floor employees to scan all modules on a vehicle, whether they're associated with a warning light or not. When a scan is complete, a PRO SCAN report will typically display an overview of freeze frame, I/M status, network scan results, OBD2 codes, pending DTCs, possible causes, upcoming maintenance and projected diagnostics.
