April 8, 2014—Federal-Mogul’s powertrain segment was the recipient of a 2014 Automotive News PACE Award at an award ceremony held Monday in Detroit.
The company’s lead-free engine bearings were recognized in the product category, which recognizes innovations in new products, components or systems that have significant market impact in the industry.
"We are extremely honored to receive this prestigious award, as it demonstrates the great pride we take in our products and technologies,” said Gian Maria Olivetti, vice president of technology and innovation at Federal-Mogul Powertrain.
The annual PACE Awards recognize automotive suppliers for innovation, technological advancement and business performance.
