Sept. 12, 2016—Pickering’s Auto Service in Lakewood, Colo., recently celebrated its 40th anniversary.
Pickering’s hosted a private event to celebrate the milestone on Sept. 10.
The business was founded in 1976 by Randy Pickering. In 1998, Pickering’s moved to a new 15-bay facility with state-of-the-art equipment. In 2010, Pickering’s opened up a second location in Arvada, Colo., with 10 bays. Both locations are Energy Star and Green Garage certified, and the company participates in several recycling and environmental initiatives. Pickering’s also gives back to the local community by working with organizations such as Hands of the Carpenter, Coats for Colorado and Toys for Tots.
“First and foremost, our goal is to build trusted, long-lasting relationships with customers while extending the life and safety of their vehicles,” Randy Pickering said. “Many of our customers have been with us throughout the first four decades of Pickering’s Auto Service and have become part of our family. We’re looking forward to continuing to build that family for generations to come.”
