Oct. 27, 2014—The Tire Industry Association's (TIA) pre-Global Tire Expo special events have set records for registration, the organization announced.
The events will be held on Nov. 3 at Caesars Palace Las Vegas and include the TIA Cocktail Hour, the Tire Industry Honors Awards Ceremony, and the TIA Welcome Reception.
To date, event registration is up over 30 percent from 2013 with more than 400 planning to attend both the Cocktail Hour and Tire Industry Honors.
"The numbers show that the industry is truly excited about TIA's events and the Global Tire Expo. Having over 400 people at the Tire Industry Honors is a tribute to this year's honorees. They all have made significant impacts in the industry and friends, family and TIA members all want to be there to congratulate them. We expect the numbers to continue to increase as registrations are still coming in daily," TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield said in a release.
