Dayco Establishes Scholarship in Memory of Late President

Nov. 1, 2016—Dayco, the engine products and drive systems supplier, has established the Ed Rammel Memorial Scholarship Fund through the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. The scholarship, funded by Dayco, is meant to honor the memory of its late president of the North American and Australian Aftermarket.

Rammel passed away on Sept. 26, 2016, after a nearly two-year battle with cancer. He had joined Dayco in 1985.

“Ed had a positive impact on the entire automotive aftermarket and had a great balance of intensity, intelligence and humor, with a deep love and passion for all people he touched during his time with us,” said John Bohenick, CEO of Dayco.
