Feb. 22, 2016—On Friday, Discount Tire announced that it will return for a seventh season as a sponsor for at least 24 races in the 2016 NASCAR XFINITY Series on Team Penske.
The partnership between Discount Tire and Team Penske began in 2010. In addition to primary sponsorship of the No. 22 Ford Mustang in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, Discount Tire serves as an associate sponsor for the Team Penske No. 2 and No. 22 Ford Fusions in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
To kickoff the 2016 racing season, Discount Tires launched a sweepstakes for fans called “Pick 22 to Win.” The sweepstakes invites NASCAR fans to predict the outcome of the No. 22 drivers Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski and Ryan Blaney during select 2016 XFINITY Series races.
Fans from any state can enter at Pick22towin.com for a chance to win one weekly Grand Prize of four new Goodyear Tires with a retail value of up to $1,000. Entrants who correctly pick where the No. 22 car finished for designated XFINITY Series races are eligible to win prizes for a specific race week.
