April 24, 2014—Repair Jungle on Wednesday launched in Austin, Texas, according to a company press release.
Repair Jungle is a free online service that lets car owners receive competing quotes on their auto repairs from Austin mechanics.
“Consumers value their time and are looking for ways to minimize time and energy spent on daily tasks. Car repair can be time consuming and a source of anxiety for many drivers. Repair Jungle’s service brings efficiency and transparency to auto repair in Austin,” said Zlatan Beca, founder of Repair Jungle.
Repair Jungle previously operated in Washington, D.C., and surrounding areas in Maryland and Northern Virginia. The company said it is now expanding to other cities nationwide.
