May 19, 2015—WHI Solutions recently announced Baldwin Filters/Hastings Premium Filters as the recipient of its WHI Best in Class award in the Electronic Data Excellence Category.
The announcement came at the annual Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN) Knowledge Exchange Conference.
Baldwin was the only company within the industry to achieve this level of excellence. The Auto Care Association (ACA) led the development of the ACES (Automotive Content Enhanced Standard) and PIES (Product Information Enhanced Standard) standards for use by both the automotive industry and heavy-duty industry.
Baldwin Filters started implementing the standards and distributing electronic data to data partners on a monthly basis in 2010. Distribution of PIES data to e-cat partners started in 2011, and ACES was first sent out in the fall of 2012.
Baldwin also was recognized for its customer service.
