Zubie, Castrol innoVentures to Launch Telematics Solution

March 7, 2016—Zubie has announced a partnership with Castrol innoVentures to launch a joint telematics solution designed specifically for auto dealerships. The new solution will initially deploy with Motorcars Cleveland.

The new telematic solutions will integrate Zubie’s Autodealer Telematics Platform with Castrol innoVentures’ dealer-specific workflow application.

Zubie’s aftermarket cellular OBD-II device, cloud and mobile solution provides data for both car owners and dealerships. Car owners can receive real-time actionable information about their vehicles and drivers. The mobile app gives instant access to reports, real-time car health alerts, preventative maintenance reminders, customizable one-click app service appointment scheduling, and more.

Through its integration with Castrol innoVentures’ dealer-specific workflow application, Zubie augments the data sent to customers by providing customer-permissioned, specific, actionable service-oriented information about vehicles to the dealership’s service advisors.

Zubie's always-on cellular connection enables constant remote monitoring of customers' service needs – miles driven, operating conditions, and more—without reliance on Bluetooth and phone pairing. Dealers will be alerted for check engine lights, low voltage/battery issues, specific mileage, and odometer-driven service and maintenance needs. Additionally, Zubie's unique Wear & Tear analytics algorithms help predict when issues may occur, based on the vehicle and its actual operating parameters.
