Dec. 9, 2014—Power Solutions International Inc. (PSI) will release its latest industrial and heavy-duty power systems at the 2014 POWER-GEN International Trade Show, this week in Orlando, Fla.
PSI's top highlights are its newly designed 4.3-liter industrial engine and its 8.8-liter industrial engine, featuring a significantly increased power range. The company is also showcasing new features for its updated Heavy-Duty engine family.
The fuel-flexible engine offers a power range of 35-50 kW.
PSI's 8.8-liter "big block" engine features an extended power range to 180 kW. The unit will come with enhanced features including a new closed crankcase ventilation system, offering reduced oil consumption and excellent cold ambient ability; a spark plug heat shield for better durability; a new oil pan and an engine-mounted catalyst.
PSI's industrial and Heavy-Duty engines will be showcased at PSI's booth (No. 1910), as well as at the booths of numerous OEMs throughout the POWER-GEN International Show.
