RW Columnist Announces Audio of Novel

June 17, 2020

Mitch Schneider's novel, Misfire, is now available on audio.

June 17, 2020—Mitch Schneider, Ratchet+Wrench columnist, former owner of Schneider’s Auto Repair in Simi Valley, Calif., and author of Misfire: What to Do When Things Aren’t Running on All Cylinders, has announced his novel is now available on audio through Audible and on the iBooks app for Mac.

Schneider’s novel is a fictional tale about a contractor whose life is not “firing on all cylinders.” His chance encounter with a different kind of garage owner is a catalyst for positive change. The audio is narrated by voice actor David Kaye.

“At a time when so many people are struggling with economic uncertainty and social unrest—when some many are being forced to pivot or reinvent—Misfire’s message could not be timelier,” Schneider says. “Its lessons are drawn from a lifetime of experience that helped move our independent auto repair shop from survival to success.”
