Jan. 25, 2023—Volvo is recalling certain models of its 2023 vehicles due to a brake issue, affecting more than 27,000 cars manufactured by the company.
104.5 WOKV reports that the issue in question affects the antilock brake system, electronic stability control, and traction control, according to information obtained from the National Highway Safety Administration.
To help resolve the problem, Volvo will be sending a free over-the-air software update to drivers of recalled vehicles. Drivers will also receive letters from Volvo around March 15.
The models this will apply to are S60, V60, V60CC, V90CC, XC60, XC90, XC40, and C40. The recall number from Volvo is R10217.
