Brembo Returns as Host, Sponsor of the 2015 Concours d’Elegance
June 20, 2015—Brembo announced on Friday that it will return as the official media host and Supercar Display sponsor of the 2015 Concours d’Elegance of America.
The event will take place on Sunday at the Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth, Mich.
This will be the fifth consecutive year that Brembo has served as the Supercar Display sponsor for the event, which includes 25 unique supercars and motorcycles including the 2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale A, 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C coupe, 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari Coupe, 2016 BMW Motorcycle R 1200 RS, 2015 BMW R nineT and 2015 Polaris Slingshot SL Three Wheeler.
“The Concours represents the past, present and future of the automotive industry,” said Dan Sandberg, Brembo North America president and chief executive officer. “As Brembo celebrates its 40th year in motorsports, we are able to bring our history to this event and showcase the company’s brake product history with supercars, motorcycles and race cars.”
Brembo will display a sample of the latest original equipment calipers that are standard equipment on the 2016 Corvette Z07, 2016 Dodge Viper ACR (American Club Racer), 2016 Cadillac CTS-V and the 2015 Ford Mustang. There will also be a display featuring four Brembo speciality rotors, including cast iron two-piece, carbon ceramic and carbon carbon rotors as well as the Brembo’s OE specification, highest quality integral cast iron rotors. A special Formula 1 display will also be in the booth with a carbon carbon rotor and Formula 1 caliper.
Brembo will show its premium range of aftermarket products with special focus on protective UV-coated brake rotors and pads.
This year marks Brembo’s fifth year at the 2015 Concours d’Elegance of America and the 40th anniversary of its entry into motorsports. Brembo supplied the first racing brake system to Ferrari in the 1975 Formula One World Championship. Since then, Brembo has invested heavily in research and development of highly innovative and technical products.
